I have acted as an independent practitioner since 2017, inspired by barrister friends from Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. I now act exclusively as an arbitrator and mediator, accepting appointments and serving on panels administered by major arbitration forums around the world and serving also on ad hoc panels.
I take on some pro bono advocacy projects and still will work as co-counsel with some younger advocates and with former colleagues on occasion.
I am writing and publishing more, including law journal articles co-authored with talented lawyers and friends.
I hope the information in this website will be informative to counsel and parties who might consider me for service as arbitrator or mediator and I encourage inquiries of all sorts. I have conducted pre-selection interviews as advocate and neutral, consistent with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Good Practice Guidelines on the Interviewing of Prospective Arbitrators. I am an avid correspondent and I enjoy “meeting” new people electronically as well as in person.
In addition to communications regarding potential service as arbitrator or mediator, please feel free to email or text me about anything that interests you and expect that I will respond.
